Jem Harding

Jem Harding is in his final year of a Bachelor of Music (performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He started playing the piano at a young age with the Suzuki method under the tuition of Nada Brissenden.

Last year he won the National Eisteddfod in Canberra and was a semi finalist in the International Piano Competition, the Concurs d’Andorra in northern Spain. Apart from his solo work he is also involved with various musical groups in and around Sydney, working primarily as a repetiteur with such companies as Out of the Blue, Alexander Productions, SMA Productions, the Conservatorium Opera Department and The Music Practice. In August 2006 he gave a series of concerts in Indonesia for Sheraton International to celebrate the opening of their flagship resort in Bali.

Jem is currently repetiteur and vocal coach for the musical production “Once on this Island” which is playing at the Seymour Centre.

Jem studies with the renowned Russian pianist Nadia Sheludiakova.
